The Regency Retirement Residence is a nonprofit 501 (c) (3), Independent Living, Retirement Community. The Regency has a board of directors consisting of between 5-7 board members. Although the Regency does not qualify as low-income housing, the Regency is affordable housing for middle-income seniors. Residents of the Regency are members of a corporation who rent a unit and share common area spaces and activities with each other.
The Regency is a small, warm, and caring community of people who enjoy having the company of others close by who feel like family and friends, and yet at the same time are able to have some quiet, private time to themselves whenever they like. If you do not enjoy living around or amongst others, the Regency is not the place for you.
The Regency is looking for future Residents who are community-focused, enjoy attending functions, are willing to serve on a committee, volunteer as a helper, or serve as a board member.
We are not accepting "snow birds", folks who are gone elsewhere for several months out of the year, since we are looking for active, participating members who add to our community.
Requirements for living at the Regency are: able to live independently (taking care of your basic daily living needs), must be 65 years of age or older, and must be able to show a minimum yearly income between $35,000 & $40,000.
