ABOUT REGENCY

The Regency is a nonprofit corporation governed by the Resident Members through a 7-member elected Board of Residents. The Board of Residents receives input from all residents. To qualify, a person must be 55 years of age or older and able to live independently as well as have a minimum annual income of $20,000.

Each residence has a complete full-size kitchen, sliding glass doors opening onto a patio, its own furnace, central air, and additional storage in the garage areas. Common areas include enclosed hallways; secure entrance; a community/dining room with a fireplace, patio, and television; a guest room; fully-equipped laundry rooms; craft/exercise room; a woodshop; a library area; and attached garages.

In addition we feature an optional meal program, which is served at noontime Monday through Friday.

The Regency is staffed with two part-time employees and a fulltime director to coordinate services and activities both inside and outside the residence. The Regency also employs a cook to prepare the optional noon luncheon, and a building and grounds maintenance person to ensure that the Regency residents live carefree.

What Our Residents Say

I love the caring residents and staff, the safety of our facility, and the ability to exercise if the weather is bad. There are so many reasons that make living at the Regency exceptional. ~Marian

Everything is all on one floor. No more stairs! Looking out my windows at open space is great. I have new acquaintances and folks to "hello" down the hall. As times passes, we share our cares and help each other smile and laugh. ~Muriel

As a new resident of the Regency, I love my comfy, cozy 2-bedroom apartment; my inside garage; the many activities the community of residents offers; and most of all the neighbors in this community. They're my new friends. ~Susan

I like living in a secure building. It is a 5-minute walk to the grocery store and pharmacy and a 5-10 minute walk to restaurants. Residents of the Regency feel like family and tend to look after and help one another. ~Bill
